About the Audio Cutter

Our Audio Cutter allows you to trim and cut your audio files directly in your browser. You can cut a single section or multiple sections from your audio. No software installation required - just upload, select the portion(s) you want to keep, and download your trimmed audio file(s) as an MP3. You can download multiple cuts as separate files or as a single merged track.

This tool is perfect for creating ringtones, trimming music samples, or removing unwanted sections from audio recordings. It's fast, free, and encodes to a high-quality MP3 file.

How to Use the Audio Cutter:

  1. Click the upload area or drag and drop your audio file.
  2. Wait for the waveform to load. A default selection is created.
  3. Adjust the selection by dragging the handles, or click and drag on the waveform.
  4. Click the "+" button to add more cut sections.
  5. Click the "-" button to delete the currently active section.
  6. When you have multiple sections, you can choose to merge them into a single file.
  7. Set fade in and fade out durations if desired (applied to the start/end of the final audio).
  8. Click "Play" to play the track from the selected start point
  9. Click the Scissor button to process your file(s), and download it(them).
